“American Music Awards” (8 p.m., ABC): Here’s another chance for trophy-deprived pop stars to collect some fancy hardware. But it should be fun. Bruno Mars leads all nominees with eight, including a nod for Artist of the Year.
“Outlander” (8 p.m., Starz): In “Heaven and Earth,” Claire races to discover the source of an epidemic aboard a disease-stricken ship before hundreds of sailors die. And as Jamie locks horns with Captain Raines, Fergus finds himself torn between loyalty and love.
“Wisdom of the Crowd” (8 p.m., CBS): While the team is assisting the San Francisco Police Department on a tech-based murder case, a cyber-criminal attacks Sophe and cripples the platform.
