I guess we’ll just call this a lite halfway unboxing lol. Leave comments on what cases you want me to review & any questions. Enjoy!
Both are anodized aluminum and glass, with minimized antenna lines and Lightning ports, sans 3.5mm headphone jack. Both also have 7 megapixel from facing camera Dan 12 megapixel f/1.8 wide angle rear-facing lenses. IPhone 7 Plus, though, also has a 12 megapixel f/2.8 telephoto lens as well.
Otherwise you have volume up and down, ringer switch, SIM card slot, better, louder speakers on the bottom — and for the first time, a matching big loud speaker on top for full-on stereo sound.
They’re also both powered by Apple’s phenomenal A10 Fusion chipset, which intelligently, dynamically switches between two high-efficiency cores and two high-power cores for maximum battery life and maximum performance.
In the box are the usual tips, stickers, AC adapter, Lightning cable, and new this year: Lightning EarPods and a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
None of that matters, though, when you look at the new iPhones and hold them in your hands. Then the utter singularity of the objects take over.
Some may gripe that the overall shape is the same. Ignore them. IPhone is now in the same category as Porsche, Leica, or Rolex. It’s iconic.
And the iPhones 7 are one step closer Apple’s Platonic ideal.
